DR GILLIAN KAGGWA
Research Fellow
Gillian graduated from Flinders University, Australia in 2002 with a B.Tech in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry. In the following year she went on to complete a BSc. in Chemistry (Honors) at Adelaide University, Australia. In 2002 she began her PhD at the Ian Wark Research Institute, Australia, where she studied the influence of adsorbing polysaccharides and polyacrylamides on the wettability of model and real mineral surfaces. Gillian’s research interests are concerned with the interfacial properties of model and polymer-functionalised surfaces as probed with the AFM. Gillian joined the Nanoscale Function Group in 2005, through the IRSCET fellowship scheme. |
