DAVID CORISH PhD student
David graduated from the Dublin Institute of Technology with a BSc (Hons) in Applied Sciences (Physics and Physics Technology) in 2005. He joined the Nanoscale Function Group in October 2005, and is currently studying for his postgraduate degree under the joint supervision of Prof. Suzi Jarvis and Prof. Brian O'Connell (Dentistry, TCD). His research involves modifying and studying the topography and chemistry of novel implant (titanium) surfaces at the nanoscale via anodization chemistry and atomic force microscopy. The efficacy of these surfaces is evaluated using various cellular response assays for both soft and hard tissue cell types. |
